 Easy Tech  Complete the lesson called Audience and Organization
 2  Pre Computer Activity  Complete the Slide Show Activity Page. You will find the activity sheet in station 2, grade 3 mailbox.
 3 Pre Computer Activity Complete the Slide Show Sketches packet. You will find the packet in station 4, grade 3 mailbox.
4  Easy Tech  Complete the lesson called Composing Slides
5  Computer Activity  Begin PowerPoint by going to the green Start button then to All Programs. Find Microsoft Powerpoint on the list. Click on it. Begin making your 4 slide presentation. Be sure to use the Slide Show Sketches you created in activity 3.
6 Print Out Print out the hand out slides to your presentation. You might need to ask Mrs. Gould for help on this one!

 Extra Credit

 1  Easy Tech lesson -   Enhancing Slides  Complete the Easy Tech lesson and return to your presentation to apply at least one special technique learned in this lesson.
 2  Learn how to use the digital camera  Take a picture that is appropriate for your presentation. Save your new picture in your personal folder. Put it into your presentation.
 3  Oral Presentation  Sign Up to make a special presentation to the class.

Ride Across America

You will find a blue worksheet in station 2. Read and follow the directions very carefully. During this activity you will review how to open and save a file with a new name. Pretend you are a teacher and your student wrote a paragraph with lots of mistakes. Your job will be to correct mistakes and print the corrected paragraph.

Computer Activity: Corrections

Find the blue worksheet in station 4. Read and follow the directions very carefully. You will need to resave the document in your personal folder. In this lesson all the words, punctuation, and capitalization are correct. You will be practicing copying and pasting sections of the story, indenting paragraphs, and changing font styles and size. Be sure to print your finished work and put it in your folder.

Photo Studio 2

In Photo Studio 1 you learned how to take a picture with the web camera. Now you will learn how to open the picture in a program called Photo Elements. You will crop the picture to a 2 by 2 inch size and print it on photo paper. See Mrs. Gould for specific instuctions.
