This week in reading students will:


 * Blend and read words with au and aw  as in saw or fault

 * Blend and read words with oi and oy as in toy or coin 

* Add the suffixes -ly -y and -ful  to the end of base words

* Read and comprehend the story "The Surprise Family"

* Compare and contrast story elements and characters 

* Identify and use describing words
