About The Teacher

    Hi!  
    Family is most important to me. I have a wonderful, kind, loving husband 
named Neil Shaw, who happens to be the best thing that's ever happened to 
me:).  Not only is he kind, he also has many talents.  He comes from a 
musical family...his parents graduated from Northwestern with music degrees.  
They were both music teachers for many years. Neil plays guitar and sings 
quite well.
   I have two lovable dogs...a mother and her son.  They are white 
fluff balls (Bichons Frises).  Their names are Magee and Roukie.  You 
can find pictures of them and just some of my nine nieces and nephews 
on my picture page. 
    I'm also blessed with wonderful, supportive friends.  One I've been 
friends with since we were five years old.  Another was my college roommate.  
I also still get together with many friends who I attended school with or 
have worked with through the years.
