We are currently in our second theme in reading, "Give It All You've Got".
In each selection, the character faces a challenge that he/she must overcome.
The reading comprehension skills include: fact & opinion, main idea & detail,
predicting outcomes, and story structure.
In math, we will focus on division, fractions, and finding the area of
irregular shapes. Students will apply the skills that they are
learning to many types of word problems.
As part of our science unit, the students are studying mixtures and
solutions. Students will be performing various experiments to separate
different mixtures and solutions.
