How much time should my child be spending on homework?

I normally assign about 45 minutes of homework each night. Incomplete
classwork is sometimes considered homework. All work is always throughly
explained in class. Please call if you question the amount of time being spent
on homework.

When are library books due?

We make a whole class visit to the library on Thursdays, so most books are
due on Thursdays. Students may go to the library during their free time on
any day, so check inside the book for due date slips.

What should I do if my child forgets a book?

Please call the classroom to arrange for picking up materials after school
hours. I can provide access after hours or arrange a location for pick-up. I
appreciate the opportunity to help you encourage responsibility in your
student by not just skipping an assignment due to forgotten materials.
