Homework is due on FRIDAY, 6/1. Spelling Test is on FRIDAY, 6/1.
Students will also be given FOUR sentences for dictation on their test.
Students must spell each word correctly and correctly write a sentence that I
will dictate to the class (must begin with a capital letter, have ending
punctuation, and all words must be spelled correctly).

Directions: Choose AT LEAST **3** activities from the activities listed below
to complete as you practice and learn your word list. Turn in the completed
written work on a separate sheet of notebook paper on FRIDAY. Please number
each activity.
1. Make Spelling Pyramids. Write the first letter. On the next line, write
the first and second letters. On the third line, write the first, second, and
third letters, and so on. Your words will look similar to this:

2. Type your list of words on the computer. Change each vowel to a different
color. Print your list.
3. Write the words in reverse ABC order.
4. Have a family member scramble your words. Unscramble them.
5. Cut letters out of magazines and newspapers to spell your words.
6. Use all your words to write a letter to Superman or another superhero.
7. Create your own way to practice your words. Write what you did on a piece
of paper to turn in.
