Uniform
MCC FTS has a uniform policy that each child is required to follow.
Children are required to wear Burgundy shirts with the school's logo and
khaki
pants. The shirt must be purchased at the school.
Please have your child wear comfortable shoes so that they are able to play
indoor as well as outdoor. (NO LACES)
Hair
Boys neatly combed and Girls neatly tide up (no loose hair)
Lunch
Hot Lunch
The school provides a hot lunch for $3.50 (with drink) per day. If you wish
to buy lunch for your child you may pay your money to the classroom
teachers. You may also prepay weekly if you wish.
Home Lunch
You also have the choice to send home lunch. Please make sure to send a
lunch that your child will enjoy and can eat independently (No Microwave)
Drink
Preferably small water bottle or pre-pack juice box.
Snack
Each child is asked to bring 2 healthy snacks everyday. (Such as cheese,
crackers, pre cut fruits, nuts, or yogurt). One morning snack and one
afternoon snack.
Extra Clothes
Each child is required to have an extra set of clothes (Shirt, pant,
underpants, and socks.) At all time in school to be used in case the child
soils his/her uniform.
Supplies
Each parent is asked to have a complete set of all the required supplies for
the school
year. (At the Open House that is on Thursday, August 25, 2011.)
Sleeping Mat
Parents will be able to purchase sleeping mats from us for a price of $10.00.
This mat may be reused in Pre-Kindergarten next year. Please send blanket
with
your child's name on it for nap time; no pillows please. The blanket will be
sent home every Friday for cleaning and should return with the child on
Monday.
Daily Folder
Please pay $1.00 for the daily folder.
The Daily Folder will be used for communicating with you through out the
year.
The folder will go home with your child everyday for daily logs, special
announcements, or messages from the teacher. Please remember to check your
child's folder and to bring it back to school the next day. Please drop the
Daily Folder in your child's mail box in the morning.
Drop Off/Pick Up
Routine and structure is very important for discipline and sets up a good
habit in children that is most useful for success in school and later on in
their lives. Please drop off you child between 8:10 and 8:30 every morning.
Your child will be considered tardy after 8:30 am. Doors will not open before
8:10 am and 3:30 pm daily. Parents/guardians are required to sign at drop off
and pick up time.
