Greetings from our classroom! This week in Pre-K...

 

v   This week we are learning what construction workers do. In our book We Need Construction Workers, we are learning that construction workers build houses, buildings, roads, and bridges.

v   We are learning that construction workers wear special clothes and use many different tools and materials.

v   We are also learning that construction worker use big machines, such as excavators, dump trucks, cranes, and forklifts, to build things.

v   We are learning about the letter Yy.

v   We will play word games with Annie, the puppet, and guess words that begin with Yy, such as yellow, yak, yarn, and yo-yo. Work with your child to find words that begin with the letter Yy in magazines, ads, or books.

v   We are reviewing recognition of numbers and keep practicing counting numbers 1-100.
