The purpose of this site is to communicate the expectations, assignments, and activities of my classes here at Marian to students and parents. Students can download copies of weekly schedules, additional handouts, or even complete occasional games and exercises. This website is an excellent tool . . . so visit it often.
First, I would like to welcome my freshmen students and parents to Marian Central Catholic High School. I hope everyone is ready for an engaging and educational year. I look forward to working with you to make this first year at Marian as memorable (and as painless 
) as possible.
Welcome back English 4 and English 4-honors students. My goal this year is to prepare you as best I can for college and the real world, so I hope that you are ready to work. I expect all of you to stay with me the ENTIRE course of the year. Because of the difficulty of these classes, you do not have the luxury to "check out early." Work hard and be diligent, and I promise your efforts will be rewarded.
And last but not least, greetings to my Publications students. I am honored to be co-teaching this course again with Mrs. Loy. We are looking to work with you to create the best issues of "The Crown" and "Memorare" to date. For those of you who are repeating the class, I expect you to continue developing your writing and photography skills, as well as act as leaders to your classmates. For all students, we've got a good deal of work ahead of us and NEED to work together to create quality pieces.
