Classroom Rules

5 RULES + STUDENT INVOLVEMENT = SUCCESS

Mrs. Huffington's Classroom Rules

1.  BE ON TIME
·Students will be seated when the bell rings.  Any student who is not seated 
will be marked tardy. 3 tardies = 30 minute detention
·Once you enter the room, you may not leave without permission.

2.  BE PREPARED
·Students must have ALL materials needed for the class period (Math book, 
notebook, PENCIL, homework, and any other required materials).
·Homework Policy is attached
·The Problem of the Day will be on the front board, immediately start 
working on it.

3.  BE RESPECTFUL
·Respect everything in the classroom: the teacher, the students, classroom 
materials, and yourself.
·Students are to behave and respect any substitute teacher.  
      Misbehaving for a substitute can lead to a 60-minute detention.

4.  BE POSITIVE
·Keep an open mind with Math, when the topic is difficult ASK FOR HELP
·Everyone enjoys Positive feedback; feel free to pass it along.

5.  BE READY
·There will be homework in Math almost every day.  I’m letting you know now, 
so BE READY.
·Once in the classroom:  Be Ready to TEACH, Be Ready to LEARN, Be Ready to 
HAVE FUN!
