8TH GRADE US HISTORY
1. All students will be in their seats before
the bell rings. If you are not in your seats when the bell rings, you are
tardy. Once you enter the room, you cannot leave without permission.
2. Be prepared for class everyday. That
means bring your book, paper, pen/pencil, and any other required materials to
class.
3. As soon as the bell rings, you are to be SILENT.
DO THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOARD!!!
4. Raise your hand to speak. Be silent when
others are talking.
5. You will not get out of your seat
without permission.
6. Respect everyone and everything in the
classroom; the teacher, other students, classroom materials, and yourself.
7. Homework is very important to this
class. When it is assigned, it will usually be collected at the beginning of
the next class. If you do not have your homework, then you will fill out a
failure to do homework sheet and return it to me. You will have until 3:30pm
that day to turn the assignment in for a late grade, which will have no more
than half the points deducted. Those students who do not turn in their
homework will receive the following penalties:
4 No homeworks- 30 min. detention
5 No homeworks- 45 min detention
6 No homeworks- 60 min detention
7+ No homeworks- ISS
* IF YOU ARE ABSENT, SEE ME AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE TO RECEIVE YOUR MAKEUP WORK. DON'T WAIT!!!
8. Students will behave and respect any
substitute teacher.
* Any student who causes problems for a
substitute can receive a 60 min detention
* All school rules will be enforced per
the student handbook.
