Class Expectations

Required Materials:

o       Textbooks are required every class day unless otherwise instructed.

o       A notebook is required everyday for note taking, and in-class writing assignments.  The notebook should only be used for ONE subject.

o       A binder, or folder, is required for storage of homework, quizzes, tests, and other materials.

o       A blue or black pen, a red pen, and a pencil are needed.

o       Any other materials – handouts, homework, etc.

Classroom Rules:

o       Be on time!  Be in your seat when it is time for the class to begin or be counted Tardy.

o       Be prepared!  Have all your supplies with you everyday.

o       No Food or Gum is allowed in class.

o       Have homework assignments done and ready to hand in at the beginning of the class period.

o       Behave in a way that helps you and others learn. 

§         Exhibit common courtesy

§         Show respect for all people

§         Maintain self-discipline

§         Raise your hand when you want to speak

§         Be attentive, working on material for this class only

§         Do not leave your seat during instruction
