Homework Policy:
Homework is given on a regular basis since it is essential to learning. It is regularly assigned and checked.
ü All homework assignments are due at the beginning of the next class period.
ü Advance notice of due dates for long term assignments is given. If you have an excused absence on the day a long term assignment is due, it will be collected on the day of your return. Late work on long term assignments will NOT be accepted.
ü If an assignment is late, the following procedure will be followed:
§ You will sign a “Refusal to do Homework” sheet.
§ You will have until the end of the day to get that homework in for HALF credit only.
§ If you miss three assignments, you will be assigned a 30 minute detention.
Make-up Work:
o If you have any excused absences you will be allowed to make-up all work and receive full credit. Make-up work must be turned in on the day after you return to school.
