Welcome to 7th Grade Music!

There are a lot of fun and exciting things that we are going to accomplish this year. Seventh graders will learn how to examine a variety of genres of music, styles, and composers. As well as learn about musical productions, theatre and history. If time permits we will be able to learn how to play on the guitar!

NHM concert choir auditions will be posted in the second week of school. Don't forget, if you were in choir last year, you do not need to audition for this year. Only new students need to audition. If you have changed your mind on being a member of the concert choir, please let me know so I can take you off of the roster.

NHM Concert Choir Upcoming Events:

• Attending the Middle school/High School Exchange with school District 218.
• Hosting the combined Winter Concert with the NHM Concert Band.
• Performing at the Black History Program.
• Hosting the combined Spring Concert with NHM Concert Band & Jazz Band.
• Our annual field trip to Shephard's high school and luncheon at Old Country Buffet.
• Performance at Graduation!
• Seventh grade auditions for Scholarships to Choir Summer Camp

Music Supplies: *Please have the following supplies for the music classroom.*

• Pencil / Erasable Pen - No permanent pens are aloud.
•  Paper
• Eraser
• Folder
• Classroom Regulations
