Classroom Expectations

ASSIGNMENT NOTEBOOK
Every student is issued an Assignment Notebook at the beginning of the school year.  The purpose of the Assignment Notebook is to help students keep track of their daily assignments.  Student's assignments are written on the chalkboard and/or the overhead screen daily.  The students are responsible for writing their assignments in their Assignment Notebook.  We strongly encourage parents/guardians to check their child's Assignment Notebook on a daily basis.  If your child has lost his/her Assignment Notebook, another one may be purchased at the front office for $5.00

ASSIGNMENTS/HOMEWORK POLICY
Late work is not accepted, unless the student has an excused absence.  An excused absence is when the parent/guardian has contacted the school and informed the administrators/secretaries that their child will be absent from school.  It is the student's responsibility to get the assignments that they missed while they were absent.  The number of days that a student is absent, will be equal to the number of days that the student will have to make up their work.

If a student is suspended from school, it is the parent's responsibility to request and pick up work for their child during the suspension (not after the student has returned).  The work is to be completed and turned in to the teacher upon the student's return from the suspension.

STUDENT ID's

   - Attend field trips (students must have their ID's on the day of  field trips in order to attend)
   - Obtain their lunch (students must have their ID's scanned at the register in order to get their lunch)
~ If a student doesn't have their ID, they will be required to wait until the students who have their ID get their lunches.

If a student loses, defaces, mutilates, or destroys their ID, they will be required to replace it.  The replacement cost is $5.00.
