Get Involved with PTA!!!

The PTA has several opportunities for you to be involved in for the 2009-2010 school year. If you are interested in filling any of these vacancies, please contact Tracey Holmes 281-9463.

• 2010 Auction Donation Solicitation – A person to help network with area businesses and use creative thinking to solicit donations. (Not door to door solicitation)
• End of the Year Celebration Coordinator

Box Tops 4 Education

Once again it's time for the Box Tops for education Contest. This is a great way to help the school earn money. Clip those box tops along the dotted line and turn into your child's teacher all month long. At the end of the month the bags will be collected and counted. The classroom with the highest total of eligible box tops in each grade level will win a pizza party for their class. P.S. Don't forget to tell family and friends. Schnucks Grocery Store Program

1. Visit your local Schnucks and request their Escript Card. You can do this at the courtesy Counter. Don't forget to call and activate once you are home.
2. Ask your family and friends to register for a card as well.
3. Present your card to the cashier everytime you shop.
4. For every dollar you spend at the store, Schnucks will donate up to 3 % of your purchase amount.
5. Make sure you register as one of the following:
1. Parkview Elementary
2. Columbia Elementary
3. Columbia Middle School
4. Columbia High School

Tyson Project A+ Labels

The Columbia Schools have started collecting the Tyson Project A+ Labels. These labels are worth $0.24 cents a piece. The money may be used for anything the school needs. Simply drop the labels in the Box Top containers at school and turn your trash into cash for our kids. For more information or a list of products, visit www.tyson.com/projectaplus.
