Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment

The PBL Curriculum Committee is made up of teachers, students, parents, administrators, board members, and support staff throughout the district. The committee meets quarterly to collaborate and assist in making decisions regarding curriculum, instructional best practices, and district assessments. The committee also assists in planning professional development and writing the district improvement plan (DIP). The committee's focus for the 2011-2012 school year will be centered around transitioning from the Illinois State Learning Standards (ILS) to the recently adopted Common Core State Standards (CCSS). The PBL Curriculum Committee meets in the Unit Office Board Room on the followinng dates and times in the 2011-2012 School year: Monday, August 15 12:00, other meeting times and dates TBD.
