Our Class Books

Daily writing is encouraged in our classroom which includes group projects called class books. Class books are a way for all children to contribute to a project no matter what their reading and writing level. Each child writes and illustrates a page that is bound and incuded in the class book. These books then circulate so that every child has a chance to take the books home and share them with family members. Family members have the opportunity to add positive comments to a Family Comment sheet included in the back of each book. These books not only provide extra reading practice for your child, they give you a glimpse into our classroom activities and hopefully provide you an opportunity to discuss things that are happening in class. You can also get to know your child's classmates through class books.

Below is the list of class books that will be circulating early in the year. I hope you enjoy reading our books as much as we love making them! ~Mrs.Zider
