Literacy BackpacksA fun way to bring learning home is with Literacy Backpacks. Children have a choice from about ten backpacks per quarter. The backpacks go home on Fridays and are due back to school on Wednesdays. This gives your family a weekend and two school nights to explore each backpack. The activities involve reading, writing, math, cooking, art, geography, and science. Remember that these are for fun so if you too busy at a time when a backpack comes home, just return it and your child can check it out another time. Have fun! ~Mrs. Zider
