Number Club

We have been working hard at "Number Club." The children work independently to read and write their numbers to complete certain goal levels throughout the year. We would like everyone to complete the 500 Club level by the end of 4th quarter. I will list the club members' names as they reach their goals. Help at home by having your child count aloud and practice printing numbers.

*Number Roll is a popular activity where the children use a place value mat and thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones manipulatives to represent the number and then write it in columns on a roll made of sentence strips. This has made a HUGE difference in my students' understanding of concept of number and place value this year! They love doing Number Roll!
