We have been busy writing Christmas poetry, reading personal narratives and
learning about fractions and forces and energy. Every child in my class
writes a Young Author story and we have done some brainstorming. It is a fun
experience and writing for a purpose is an important skill. I have sent
guidelines home for the students to follow. If you could proofread and
encourage them at home it would be helpful. The Young Authior story is due
January 15.
The Challenger Learning Center space simulation is January 21 for my class
and January 22 for 5T. The field trip will be from 8:45-12:00 each day. 4
volunteers for each class will be needed. Students will need to bring a sack
lunch to eat in the room when we return from our trip. We are really looking
forward to this mission! Thanks in advance for your help!
Thank you for all the Christmas and birthday presents! Your generosity is
overwhelming! I am looking forward to spending my Christmas break in
Colorado with my family. I hope you have a wonderful time with your family
too! Let it snow!!!!!
Merry Christmas!
