Proposed Cell phone Policy Change Effective January 6th
1. Students will be able to use their phones in the hallways prior to the bell ringing. Once the bell rings phones will be off and out of sight.
2. Students will be able to use phones during lunch time 11:40-12:10 for SCLA and PEP students 11:10-11:35.
3. Students will be able to use their phones in the hallway after the bell rings at 2:50.
4. 1,2,3, rule will still be in effect but with new start
o 1st time use out of acceptable times- taken, minor referral and returned at the end of the day.
o 2nd time use out of acceptable times- taken, minor referral and returned at the end of the day
o 3rd time use out of acceptable times- taken, minor referral and parent must pick up phone
5. Students will still have to call to go home in office with office permission.
