When homework is assigned, students will be asked to write it down in their
assignment notebook which the school provides. Homework is due the next
school day unless otherwise noted in the assignment notebook. Any late
assignments will be recorded as "Late" and the total score will be reduced
by 10%. A "Late Slip" will be sent home to be signed by a parent/guardian.
The district's homework policy is stated in the district handbook, which
requires 10 minutes of homework per grade level. For example, 5th grade
should have 50 minutes of homework per night not including study time.
