I have been teaching for over 20 years. I have taught early childhood,
kindergarten, second grade and currently teach third grade. Illinois State
University is where I earned my bachelor’s degree, followed by a master’s
degree from Northern Illinois University. I have been fortunate to have
taught at Washington, Caledonia, and Seth Whitman.
My husband Jeff and I live in Belvidere with our three children and our dog,
Jasper. Kelsey attends BNHS, Josh attends BCMS, and Jake is here at Seth
Whitman. Outside of the classroom you can find me watching my children play
sports, visiting with friends at the book store, or at my house just spending
time with the family. I love the Cubs, traveling, reading, scrapbooking, new
technologies, and music.
