Welcome to our website, a place where you can visit all of the important
information about what is going on in our classroom and at school. I hope
you are able to find everything that you need to keep you informed of the
procedures, events, and learning activities for the 2008-2009 school year.
I hope my students are making good use of all the snowy days by reading. It
is the perfect time to cuddle up and read. Don't forget to record all of
the minutes spent reading. We have three different reading incentives going
on right now; Book-It for Pizza Hut, Six Flags, and Magic Waters.
Our snow day mixed up the schedule a little. We will have the winter words
spelling test on the Tuesday after we return. It wouldn't be fair to have
the test on our first day back. They will get a new
list of words when we return to school. You could get a jump start by
looking at the spelling page of
this web site.
I am looking for any pictures from the Christmas concert. I was backstage
so I don't have any pictures to post from that night. I'd appreciate any
pictures that you can share. Just email them to me or I could
scan them.
I will take the fronts from any Christmas cards that you might be
discarding. We use the pictures from the cards to create new cards for
people who live in area nursing homes. Just send them in with your
child.
They are making changes to our district email right now so I will not be
able to access the district email
until January 4th.
