NO ROOM AT THE INN
You are working for some VERY important people! Your company accountant,
Madeline Hauser will be attending a seminar with the U.S.Treasury Inspector
General. She will need hotel reservations and a rental car.
What do
you need to know?
1. Where will the meeting be held?
2. How many nights will she be staying?
3. What kind of accommodation will she need?
4. Will she be traveling alone?
5. What kind of car will she require? (sub-compact, compat, midsize,
luxury?) (These are big words for tiny, little, regular, cool)
6. How long will she need the vehicle?
7. Does the company have a corporate account? (Sometimes corporations
get group rates on rental cars)
The meeting will be held at the Inspector General's office at 321 W.
Washington, Springfield, Illinois. She would like to stay near the office.
She'll be traveling alone, but will need a suite that is suitable for hosting
small meetings of not more than three people. The plan is for her to be
there next Monday evening, all day Tuesday and check out on Wednesday
morning. Your company has a corporate account at Enterprise rentals. She
wants a mid-sized, four-door car and will return it Thursday morning.
Your assignment is:
1. Find and price hotel accommodations.
2. Print out the best match and submit it to your instructor.
3. Find out the cost of the car rental.
4. Pretend the classmate on your right is Ms. Hauser. Email the details
of her hotel and car rental information. CC the instructor.
5. When you receive an email from a classmate, reply and cc your
instructor.
