Dear Spring Wood Parents,
We are pleased to inform you of a unique and exciting addition to the
Explorer program in our school. We have teamed up with Artsonia to showcase
its students’ artwork on the Internet. Artsonia is the largest online art
museum with thousands of artwork by students in over 100 countries.
We believe that this project will help boost the students’ pride and self-
esteem, technology awareness, and multi-cultural understanding. Additionally,
the project also enables parents, relatives and friends to view the child’s
artwork online. We encourage you to take an active role in your child’s
education by participating in Artsonia.
One of the most exciting features about being published on Artsonia’s Art
Museum is that friends and family can leave a nice comment for the artist and
become a fan club member of the artist. As a registered parent, you can
invite family and friends to join your child’s fan club, as well as pre-
approve any comments that visitors leave in your child’s guestbook.
You can see your child’s artwork as well as other artwork by visiting
Artsonia’s website. Go to www.artsonia.com and browse our school’s gallery.
Besides showcasing our students’ artwork on the Internet for the world to
see, Artsonia also offers parents high quality gift items imprinted with your
child’s own artwork. Fifteen percent of all the order revenue will go
directly to the art and computer classrooms to enhance these programs.
Therefore, not only are these products excellent gifts for friends and
family, but your order directly supports our school and your budding artist.
We encourage you and your family members to visit the website and enjoy all
of its educational benefits.
Sincerely,
Ms. Coburn & Miss Benefiel
