Why do I need to be in music class?

In life, we need to learn new and different things.  Participating in music 
class helps us to develop our learning skills.

Who can play the guitars in the class?

The 8th Grade students will play the guitars.  7th grade students will play 
African Percussion, and 6th Grade students will play Orff instruments.  All 
three grade levels will use Sibelius music notation software.

Are 8th Grade students on Quarters or Semesters?

8th Grade Explorer classes are on a semester schedule.  Each 8th grade 
student that is in an explorer class will be in that class for the duration 
of that semester.
