Mrs. Echternach has been teaching in Keeneyville District 20 since August,
1980. She has taught at all four schools in the district, starting her
career at the original Keeneyville Elementary School (which is no longer
there!). She spent 11 years teaching elementary Physical Education, mainly
at Greenbrook School. She is currently teaching at Spring Wood Middle
School.
Mrs. Echternach has 2 children, one in college and the other in high school.
She received her Bachelor's Degree from Western Illinois University in
Physical Education and Health. She received her Master's Degree from
Concordia University in Math and Computer Education.
Mrs. Echternach believes in providing a safe, positive environment in which
students can develop a lifelong love and skills for movement, physical
fitness, and leisure through a variety of experiences, games, and physical
activities.
