I was born in Ebersbach/Fils which is located in southern Germany. I
graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree
majoring in German and minoring in Art. In addition to that, I received my
Letter of Endorsement in ESL. Recently I received my Masters Degree from
National Louis in Education/Curriculum and Instruction.
I live with my husband, Rich, and we have three children, two sons and one
daughter. We also have four adorable grand-daughters, Kaylen Marie, Sophia
Grace, Lianna Joy and Alyssa Noelle and one grandson, Marcus Richard.
I came to the United States when I was twelve years old and I remember how
tough it was not speaking and understanding English. I would like to help the
ESL students learn the English language as quickly as possible and encourage
them to always do their very best at whatever they do.
Learning the English language is a long process. It is said, that it can
take anywhere from 3-7 years to become toatally fluent in the English
language. Students should not be discouraged at any point during this
process. I would like to encourage you to work diligently. Remember to do
your very best at all times and stay focused. Keep in mind, that I am one of
your biggest supporters.
