About my background

    Though I am beginning my 36th year teaching at Saint Agnes, my enthusiasm 
remains high as I greet each new class each August. Smart Board 
presesntations  have enhanced student learning. Study Island programs will 
this year help to improve math skills.  Seventh and eighth grade students 
will once again play the stock game. Every year brings new experiences, but I 
always feel a sense of pride when students come back to visit a year or two 
in high school to say "Thank You, for the good math foundation you gave me." 
    I have a middle school endorsement to teach mathematics, though I majored
in history when I graduated from St. Xavier University.  I currently 
moderate the Student Council and enjoy planning interesting activities for 
our students.   My favorite hobbies are  walking, reading, traveling and 
shopping.

Mission For The Class

     I hope my students will find learning to be an exciting adventure.  I 
want them to experience a true sense of family and acceptance in my 
classroom.
