Social Studies Update for Grades 5,6, 7, & 8th 12-12-11
WE ARE PICKING UP THE PACE IN ALL SOCIAL STUDIES CLASSES!
AS WE COMPLETE EACH SECTION OR LESSON STUDENTS WILL IMMEDIATELY BEGIN
ASSESSMENT.
Grade 5 Chapter 3 Lesson 2 Review quiz is Tuesday, 12-13-11 and Lesson 3 will
be Thursday, 12-15-11. The Skills Test will begin on Friday, 12-16-11 and
continue on Monday, 12-19-11. Spiral notebooks contain all questions,
definitions,charts and notes.
Grade 6 Chapter 3 Lesson 2 Review quiz is on Tuesday, 12-13-11 and Lesson 3
Review quiz will be on Thursday, 12-15-11. Chapter 3 Skill Test (essays)will
begin on Friday,12-16-11 and continue on Monday, 12-19-11. STUDY!
Grade 7 Chapter 6 The English Colonies -There will be a Quiz on Thursday,
l2-15-11. Students are asked to study and complete all unfinished class
assignments. We keep all Social Studies information in our spirals.
Vocabulary: Chapter 5,
Religion: We are reading and highlighting facts in Chapter 4.
Grade 8 We have reading and discussing Chapter 4 Sections 1, 2,3,and 4.
Chapter 4 Test is on Thursday,12-15-11. All classroom assignments are due on
Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Please read the required material.
