What should my child have as a snack?

A healthy snack everyday is very important.
Some suggestions are: fruit, cheese, vegetables, crackers,or pretzels.
It is a good habit to teach your child to pack their own snack.
Making them responsible and guiding them to choose something healthy is a good lesson.

What should students do for homework?

See the Assignment Notebook. This notebook is very important!
Homework is listed daily - please check and sign everyday.
In addition to the daily homework the children should also make time to read nightly
and drill their addition & subtraction facts. Practice makes perfect!
Keep in mind that Independent Reading is a grade on the Report Card.
Four or more sheets are due each quarter. Besides, Reading opens a whole new world for your child!
Enjoy!!
