This is my sixth year teaching at ST. Alexander School. For those of you
new to my class here is a little background on yours truly. I have been
teaching for many years. I grew up on the south side of Chicago and went to
Catholic schools all my life- I firmly believe in the value of a Catholic
education for myself and for my students. I have spent my time teaching
wearing many hats - substitute, after school care, early childhood aide,
Preschool, Kindergarten, primary grades, Junior High. I like being with
young children so I am drawn to working in the primary grades. This will be
my twelfth year teaching first grade. I find that I am still learning as I go along.
I think I grow a little more as a person with each class I have the pleasure of
teaching.
. First Grade is a great grade for students, parents and teacher. Please let us always
keep the lines of communication open.. Looking forward to a great year together!
To all work together to be the best we can be as a class. To strive to make
our classroom a safe and nurturing environment where our strengths and
and weaknesses are accepted and to witness the presence of Jesus in our lives
on a daily basis.
