How do I know if my child is missing homework?

Every Tuesday a pink sheet is sent home to inform parents of any missing work
in any of the major classes. Please check assignment notebooks daily, call
the homework line if your child is absent, get a study-buddy to call for
homework help, and just be involved in your child's daily homework routine.

How do the children know when there is going to be a test?

Quizes are given every three to four days and are always put on the homework
board 2 days before they are administered. We review daily, and always the
day before a quiz. Chapter tests are always announced a week before and put
on the homework board for the week before. We review for 2 days before the
test administered. Tests are corrected in a timely manner and are always
sent home in the Thursday folder. I do not usually test on Mondays and I do
not believe in 'pop' quizes.

What if my child is struggling in class?

Your child should ask at any time, or please contact me with a note or phone
call. I am available to go over any work during lunch study hall or after
school. My job is to help your child succeed.
