I am very excited to be starting another year as the sixth grade
teacher. This year in addition to teaching 5th-8th grade math and 6th and
7th grade reading, I will also be teaching an Algebra I class to some 8th
graders. I am looking forward to continuing this new project.
I graduated from McKendree College in 2002 and have worked here at
SJB for the past six years. I started as the computer teacher and then
moved up to the 6th grade. My husband Kevin and I moved to a house near
Hecker. In my spare time I enjoy reading mystery novels, playing softball
and tennis, watching Cardinals games, cooking, and spending time with my
family and friends. My other duties at St. John's include math club
moderator and yearbook coordinator.
As a class, our mission will be strive toward academic excellence. We will
attempt to do so by creating a loving and supportive classroom environment
where all learners are welcomed. Focusing on our objectives and enriching
our minds will be another goal. We will support one another in a faith-
filled, caring, and friendly atmosphere of academic growth for the year to
come!
