Mrs. Trost started teaching first grade at St. John the Baptist School in
1978. During this time, I have taught many brothers and sisters, coached
cheerleading, softball, track, spelling, speech, and my number one love,
volleyball. I married Steve in 1982 and we have two sons, Brad (20)
and Zac (17). Even though I have been in the first grade for 32 years, no day
has ever been the same. I enjoy working with the students and watching them
grow each day. St. Johns is a great place and all the teachers look out for
each other and are good friends. Jesus is my best friend and I try to share
that love with my students.
