Will my child be expected to sleep at rest time?

No. Rest time is a quiet time in which children can bring a blanket, stuffed

How are Birthdays celebrated?

If you would like to do something for your child’s birthday,
I encourage you to bring in a book to read and donate to the class.
All celebrations will be held at the end of the school day. If you
would like to bring in a treat that is store bought and peanut free
to share with the class, please be sure to send in enough for 17
students (please do not feel obligated to send anything).
*Goody bags are not allowed this year.

If your child’s birthday is over the summer, we will celebrate on
the last week of school. If your child’s birthday is on the
weekend, we can celebrate it on the Friday before.

Birthday party invitations may not be passed out at school, unless
there is an invitation for each child in the class.
