About The Teacher

This is my seventh year teaching at St. Josaphat. I taught kindergarten for
five years, Pre K 3 last year, and this year I am teaching first grade. I received my
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from DePaul University. I received
a Master's Degree in Linguistics at Northeastern Illinois
University, and I just finished my Master's Degree in Writing/Humanities at the University of Chicago.

Besides teaching I enjoy spending time with
my family and friends. I also enjoy running, yoga, reading, and traveling. I am
looking forward to a great school year!

Mission For The Class

Each child will work up to his/her individual potential. The students will
learn math, phonics, handwriting, and science. In addition to this they will
learn morals, religion, and values, and become caring individuals. I hope
that each child will leave my class in the summer with a good base education
to prepare them for school, as well as important life lessons and values
to prepare them for the rest of their lives!
