Free Time Policy

Free Time!

A Guide

As a computer teacher, I feel that it is important that we spend the majority of our time in class doing guided lessons and projects that have a specific goal or learning principle in mind. However, time during class for free exploration of technology while in a supervised and safe environment is a fun and engaging part of the school day.
Students may earn free time in Computer class by consistently exhibiting respectful behaviour and academic excellence. Free time is awarded to classes that have earned the required number of ‘points’, which can be earned or lost through student actions in and outside of the Computer class time.

100pts = a day of free time (grades 7 & 8)
