December 12-16
Announcements
- Through
Advent and Lent we are collecting money to sponsor our orphan, Miguel. I
encourage students to earn this money! Please send in any donations with
your child from now until December 16th.
- Thank
you to the parents and students who helped at Family Mass this Sunday!
- There
is 1:20 dismissal this Wednesday, the 14th for teacher
professional development.
- The
students’ Christmas show is Thursday night at 7:00 at the church. The
doors will open at 6:45. Students should wear festive dress (no jeans or
t-shirts) and leave their coats with parents.
- For
our Christmas Party on the 16th, I am asking that each student
bring in a new (under $5) or gently used, gender-neutral book for a gift
exchange. Please have this wrapped and brought in by Wednesday.
- School
will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 with Miss White
(bwhite@stjosaphat.net)!
- I
wish you all not only a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, but also
a wonderful rest of the school year. It has been my pleasure teaching your
children, and I couldn’t be more proud of them. We have learned a lot in
the past few months, and I have been so happy to see them progress
academically, socially, and emotionally. They have all been so excited and
supportive throughout my pregnancy, and I thank you for all the advice and
support you have given me. It will be very difficult to leave the SJS
community after six years of teaching, but I will make sure that we
visit…and that the students find out Baby H’s name!
