Author and Subject Study

I greatly appreciate all of the help bringing in books from home or from the library to help our author/subject focus. In addition to reading and learning more about facts and each author, the students also focus on the different writing genres and techniques authors apply in their own writing. These include personal narratives, how-to writing, dialogue, riddles, cause and effect, poetry, fictional and non-fictional stories, pattern books, and letters.
