Students created unique weavings,
cutting a warp of various types
of
cuts, whether curved, zigzag, or
straight.

Students were asked to create a
design using a four letter word
in a grid of 16 squares. The
object of the design was to
introduce the concept of graphic
design, how design can be simple
yet color and shape can create a
bold statement. The use of
complementary colors was
reintroduced to the students as
well.
