Second graders will receive a spelling contract at the beginning of each
week. It will list the assignments for that subject. They may also receive
one or two other assignments in other subject areas. Besides written
homework, the students are expected to read 15 minutes, practice reading
vocabulary and spelling words and drill on math facts (11-20). Counting
