Our School Administrators

Committed to Excellence in Catholic School Leadership...

Our Principal
My name is Mrs. Melissa Wilson and I am very excited to be the new principal at St. Louis de Montfort School! I look forward to working with all of you - students, parents and parishioners. I have a Bachelor's Degree in History, with an Education Minor from Loyola University Chicago. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, also from Loyola University Chicago. I attended Lewis University to complete my studies to earn my Administration and Supervision Certification. I am a life-long Chicagoan, who dislikes winter! I have been a Chicago White Sox fan since before I could walk to the games on my own. I firmly believe that every day is an opportunity to learn something new. A quote that resonates with me each day at school comes from the movie, "Haunted Mansion". Madame Leota is encouraging Jim (Eddie Murphy) to continue to try to get into the mansion to rescue his family. He is not having any success and Madame Leota states: You try. You fail. You try. You fail. But the only true failure is when you stop trying.
Learn something new every day! And, just keep trying!

Our Curriculum Director

Mrs. Darlene Agner holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision and a second Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She holds State of Illinois Teaching and Administrative Certification.   Mrs. Agner spearheads our hands-on Junior Scientists program, coordinates a learning resource program for student assistance and teaches Advanced Placement classes for high achievers.  Mrs. Agner coordiantes Title I Staff Development for our teachers and serves as the school Curriculum Director.   She is instrumental in the development of our Preschool-2/Moms and Tots programs as well.  Her creativity is an inspiration to many!
