Sylvan Learning Institute offers an interactive reading site that allows students to select books that interest them, read those books and complete on-line quizzes that test comprehension. Teachers receive e-mail updates about student progress and offer incentives for reading success. Now in its third year at St. Louis de Montfort, every teacher from Kindergarten through Grade 8 kicks off the program in September with guidelines and expectations for every child. Just another way to build reading success!!
