Character Counts is alive and well at St. Mary School! A person of character
does right according to core values that define the qualities of a good
person.
Respect, citizenship, caring, trustworthiness, responsibility and fairness
are the six pillars that will guide us throughout the year.
A TRUSTWORTHY person is honest, tells the truth, keeps promises and is loyal
so people can trust you.
RESPECT is showing others that they are valued for who they are, for their
character, not what they look like or what they have.
RESPONSIBILITY is doing what you are supposed to do.
FAIRNESS is playing by the rules, taking turns, sharing and listening.
CARING id bring kind, helpful, ans generous to everyone.
CITIZENSHIP is doing your share to help your family and make your community
a better place.
This year there will be activities each month to remind us of the six
pillars.
