What's Happening in Room 256 during the month of APRIL??? 

We'll be returning to school refreshed from a Spring Easter Break on Tuesday, April 6th.
We will be beginning the WELCOME TO THE TABLE Eucharist Book with its short video stories about the Oak St. Flyers.
We will be studying the parts of the Mass.
We will be getting ready for our FIRST HOLY COMMUNION on APRIL 24TH!!!

In Social Studies, we'll share the reports we're working on about National Monuments and Memorials.
In Science, it's time to CELEBRATE THE EARTH and learn about Rain Forests and Recycling.  Our April Family Project will be creating a RECYCLEBOT!  Check out the bunnybot on the bottom of this page.
In Math, we will continue three digit addition and subtraction with regrouping and multiplication.  We will also work on time, money, and fractions.
In Reading, we will begin TALES OF A FOURTH GRADE NOTHING by Judy Blume.  We have a class set of books.  It's an accelerated reader and we have lots of activities to go with this funny story.
HAPPINESS IS SECOND GRADE!!!
