| Be sure that you are reading for fifteen or twenty minutes, at least, four
times per week. Don't forget to fill in those RED HOT READER sheets so you
can earn Happy Grams and extra prizes.
Some of us have Advent Booklets to complete. I'd like to have them all in
by Friday if possible. Those returned with a grade and happy grams are
yours to keep. Those without a grade on the cover were given a post it note
with the dates that still need work. I'd like those returned by Friday.
Most of the class returned their Thursday Folders. I'm still missing two!
Ten 256 Kids already turned in their first RED HOT reader (or penguin
sheet) towards earning a free pizza! Let's shoot for 100% on this reading
project. There are so many good books out there for us to devour!
First Communion Information forms were returned by eleven of you. Remember
to fill these out and return them as soon as possible. Be sure that you have
your calendars marked for the Parent Eucharist Meeting on Tuesday, January
13th and for Jesus Day, one of the best days in Second Grade (even though
it's a Saturday)!
Extra classroom snacks and post it notes would be appreciated.
