Show and Tell - We will be doing SHOW AND TELL in the morning on Monday thru Thursday. Your child can bring in something one time each week. He or she doesn't have to participate every week. The Student of the Week is in charge of Show and Tell for that week.
D.E.A.R. - Drop Everything And Read: The entire school participates in
this after lunch. Your child will need several books from home to read
during these 15 minutes after lunch(12:00-12:15). On Fridays our class has D.E.A.R. with a friend. The children enjoy this time to share books with their classmates in small groups of two or three.
We will be doing an estimating jar every week. The person with the
closest guess will take the jar home on Friday to be filled for Monday. The items in the jar will be passed out on Friday.
Please send in your child's behavior chart signed on Monday. They will be sent home on Friday.
